COMMEDIA DELL´ARTE COURSE IN ROME AND VENICE
The Drama course is aimed at participants and students who already have some experience in theater.
The course is geared toward understanding the theatrical experience as a fun and useful game for developing your own creativity and expressiveness as well as increasing your artistic experience, developing the exchange of physical energy and creativity amongst the students in the group.
The historic "Comedia dell Arte" (Comedy of Art), developed in Italy, brings a comic drama that leads students to develop a satirical, bright and positive view of the world and also see its relations to power and conflict.
Theater as an intellectual exercise and as a strongly emotional experience will be explored in this course.
The actor, director, educator and writer Roberto Andrioli will lead this theatre workshop. Andrioli, of Florentine origin, studied at Piccolo Teatro Scuola di Milano under the direction of Giorgio Strehler, working on numerous productions in Italy and abroad.
The course will be held in the historic center of Rome and participants will be organizing outdoor performances in squares throughout Venice during the Carnaval holidays week.
Date: 6 to 12 of February
Duration: 1 week of 5 lessons a day from Monday to Friday with the practicum in Venice during the weekend

He studied dance in Jose de la Vega with teachers like manolo manuel nunez marin. Antonio channels of the sleeve chanel 24 Years on the main stages of the world support the career of the dancer and choreographer Emilio Herrera.

Emilio Herrera has performed with the leading figures of flamenco and performed at the Baryshnikov Dance Foundation as a guest dancer.

NAIARA NÚÑEZ - DANCER
Naiara Núñez Ortiz surrounded by artists since birth, daughter of Manuel Núñez renowned choreographer and dancer in Barcelona and Ana Ortiz dancer andteacher of its kind, classical Spanish, since very little is clear that he wants to learn to dance flamenco and of course has everything support his family.
It starts at a school founded by her parents in Tenerife to traveling to Barcelona with 15 years teaching at the school of Joseph de la Vega, with the best teachers of the time, Antonio Canales, Eva la Yerbabuena,Manolo Marin, Merche Esmeralda The Tati. At 17 began her professional career traveling the world scenarios, UAE, France, Italy, Portugal, Germany, in the dance company of Manuel Núñez, soon develops the role of lead dancer and later directed and choreographed , taking over that given by their parents until they decide, by the way they look a bit particular dance in the project start running your own company and develop all their studies and contemporary jazz, introducing the show other Performing trends ... like audiovisual projections and a musical mix ranging from traditional flamenco to jazz, ethnic air ...
DIRECTOR MUSICAL - PERCUSSION
Pablo Gómez Molina was born in Barcelona 31 years ago.
He has taken classes in improvisation with saxophonist Alfons Carrascosa, Nacho Romero and Gorka Benitez to apply to the flute in jazz combos Musicians Workshop Barcelona. He has also taken classes in improvisation and jazz piano hand Ignasi Terraza, Eduardo Tancredi and bassist at Pep Cucurella ESMUC Perez, where is currently pursuing advanced studies in modern percussion. He studied modern music arrangements by bassist Gary Willis.He has also been taught by musicians such as Horacio Fumero, with whom he also shared the stage, Pep O'Callaghan, Francesc Capella, Horacio Curti, Ricardo Canzio, Ruben Lopez Cano or Ciantore Luca.
He played with the Big Band of ESMUC, the Barcelona Jazz Festival, directed by the renowned American composer Maria Schneider.
He has traveled across the geography of the Iberian Peninsula, Morocco, Switzerland, France and Italy together Ropavieja flamenco group, group winner, in 2007, the award for best musical proposal issued by the INJUBE. Although he began studying at age 23, has received academic training in regard to music theory, but it is considered self-taught in regard to practice getting all your tables playing in most theaters and Barcelona and Madrid such as Light of Gas, the Palau de la Musica, Barcelona Auditori de Sant Cugat, the Apolo, Galileo Galilei and many more ...
He has participated in theatrical performances such as dance or Brothers of the company Sharmini Tharmaratnam, dance flamenco mixed with India, which had the participation of musicians Jordi Rodriguez, Paco Heredia, Gian Singh and Sheratan, both musicians who collaborate in the disks of the great guitarist Pepe Bean, has also recorded music for short film and worked as a studio musician. Within the panorama of Flamenco has performed with most of the singers-as,-as dancers and musicians from Barcelona cast, such as the Linea Chiqui, Jose Andres Cortes, winner of the festival of the union in 2009, Juan Ramon Caro guitarist Martin Maite (among other great artists) or Juan Carlos Gomez, a guitarist who has accompanied Juan Manuel Cañizares years and which is recording his latest album. He has attended seminars and classes that are taught worldwide percussionists such as Giovanni Hidalgo, Misirli Ahmed, Israel Suarez "The Piranha", Lucky Losada, brush, Paquito Gonzalez, Anga Diaz, Dafnis Prieto, Joselito Carrasco, Carlos Compote , Giaroldi, among others. Now part of musical projects ranging from flamenco, but music that has worked, to jazz, to traditional music.

INSIDE DESIGN COURSE IN FLORENCE: CONCEPTS OF ITALIAN INTERIORS:
July 16-27, 2012:
Inside Design is an opportunity to take a tour of the world of Italian design; to study design precedents and develop an interior design project. Students will be guided to investigate a famous Florentine fashion griffe, starting from the analysis of its products, and to translate its philosophy and features into a space reflecting its particular atmosphere. The course will include lectures, visits, critiques and studio time to work on a project. Visiting museums, design show rooms, architectural offices and hosting specific guests will introduce students to the complexities of developing interior spaces as well as an introduction to Italian design culture. Working on their projects, participants will express their own creativity through sketches, drawings and maquettes, focusing on materials, surfaces, volumes, light and colors. The aim of the course is to define a universal method to face a design project in a personal way.
The workshop is taught by Italian architect Katia Santuccio. She has a degree in architecture from Florence University. She has worked in different offices in Milan and Florence for stands and showroom designs, especially for Marazzi and Olivetti firms. In the meantime, she has been assistant lecturer for Prof. Dell’Acqua Bellavitis, Milan Politecnico, section interior design and journalist for EDGE magazine about international young design. She worked on displays of exhibitions, set-design and site-specific works. She has worked as an Interior Design and Design History teacher at the Arte school, Lorenzo de Medici American University, Accademia Europea in Florence and IED Instituto Europeo di Design Milan. She is founder of the DIstudio architecture office in Florence.
The course will be 4 hours per day and participants will have the late afternoon, evening and weekend free to explore Florence and Tuscany.

MANAGEMENT IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY IN VALENCIA
12 - 22 April, 2012
Course Description: The students will be able to improve their level of Spanish while attending one intensive music industry course, learning how different artist management agencies work by visiting them. The course will focus on important subjects managers or representatives need to know such as Performance Scheduling, Artist Contracting, Artist Logistics, strategic Planning, Marketing and Communications. Furthermore, they will be able to work in the Sixties Rock Weekend Festival for four days, preparing mailing lists, arranging artist´s hotel and flights, organizing materials for the concerts, hospitality needs, media development and taking care of the audience.
Location: Valencia is one of the biggest and liveliest cities in Spain. It is situated on the Mediterranean coast about 3 1/2 hours from Barcelona. Valencia has mild weather in the winter and hot weather in the summer months so residents and tourists alike enjoy the beautiful beaches. In the past few years, Valencia has come on to the international scene hosting America's Cup, Formula 1 Grand Prix and Festival de Musica del Mediterrani. Valencia has much to be proud of with its annual celebration of Fallas (which are not to be missed), the City of Arts and Sciences, the new zoo, cozy neighborhood bars and pubs to enjoy a "cerveza" outside and a great nightlife. Castellón, where The Sixties Rock Weekend Festival takes place, is 60 km from Valencia and is becoming a center with a lot of musical events, including one of the most famous Festivals in Europe, the FIB, which holds its concerts there.

Visits: We will take 2 visits during the program to Palau de la Música de Valencia, where the main concerts of Flamenco, Jazz or Classical music take place, and Teatro Principal de Valencia, where Dance and Musical Shows entertain local people during the year. We will also visit two different music management companies in Valencia to learn about their way of working.
Application: Applications can be found on the website. Students have to demonstrate an intermediate level of Spanish and studies and experience in the musical sector.

TEATHER, DANCE AND COSTUME DESIGN IN FLORENCE
Commedia Dell'Arte course. Traditional theatre to contemporary theatre

ILE organizes 2 week courses in theatre in Florence for actors to enhance their physical expression and learn the techniques of storytelling and improvisation as well as scene study analyzing the major authors together with the tradition of the Commedia Dell'Arte through Moliere, Shakespeare, Goldoni and Beckett. Dancing and learning about mask making are also part of this workshop. The Drama course is aimed at participants and students who already have some experience in theatre. Andrioli, of Florentine origin, studied at PiccoloTeatro Scuola di Milano under the direction of Giorgio Strehler, working on numerous productions in Italy and abroad. Some include Piccolo Teatro di Milano, Mama Experimental Theatre Club in New York, The French Theatre Company Danza Jean Duroure Francois, Il teatro di Metastasio Prato, Il Baltinsky Dom St. Petersburg, Lacorte Ospitale di Rubiera, L'artistic di Pavia. He is a multifaceted artist who loves working in diverse genres of prose and theatre, from musicals to Commedia dell’Arte. His work has reached the world of television, radio and theatre and he has taught drama techniques and is a well-known mask-maker.
Marco Bendoni, a professional dancer and Commedia Dell’Arte actor, works assiduously with recognized instrumental groups and baroque music such as Arpegiatta or Savall and combines their art with the teaching profession, offering numerous dance workshops throughout the world.
The course will take place in Florence and combine body expression/language and acting. Participants will have the opportunity to learn at the Teatro Cestello, one of the most traditional drama centers in the city and to dance to a choreographed Renaissance noble Italian dance as well as organize performances in and around Florence.
